Earrings for Christmas and a giveaway!

Earrings #1

I got cornered by the school Christmas fete commitee a while back. "Jorthy!" they cried. "Make something for our Christmas stall!" I agreed because (a) it's for a good cause and (b) I'm scared of them. Hee hee!

So here I am sat today, beading away merrily. I haven't made jewellery in ages, and I'd forgotten how much fun it is. Now, I'm not one to keep the fun to myself, so I've decided as a wee Christmas thank you to all my readers for reading my blog, I'd give a pair away. So leave a comment before sundown on Friday, stating which pair you'd like (pearl, chrystal, red or green), and follow my blog and you could be in with a chance!

I'm happy to send overseas (although they may not make it there by Christmas). The hooks are stainless steel, just in case anybody is like me and can't wear the cheapy stuff.

Good luck, and thanks for entering!

UPDATE: Congrats to Cat, the winner!

I would love to win! The ear-rings look great. It is hard to choose between the red & crystal, bit I think the crystal would win out. Happy jewelery-ing Jorth!

Oooh pretty.

It's hard to choose between them but I think I like the pearl ones slightly ahead of the clear crystal.

Gorgeous!

The green ones are oh so perfect... so green. :)

p.s. the fete people should be scared of you, with all this spontaneous artistry!

They are all so lovely and I was tossing up between red and crystal, but I think the red would be a great pop of colour for me

You are very clever, aren't you? Is there anything you can't make?

Thanks for giving us all a chance to own something so pretty. If I won, I'd like a surprise. I love them all.

Lovely! I dig the pearls

They're lovely. I'm sure you would not want to ship that far so I am just going to ask lots of questions to make my own:
How do you get the pearls to stay where they should?
Did you just close the ends with squishy beads? Or did you melt the wire?
What strength is the jewellery wire?

They are all looking really great but the last pair of them is my favourite. I love pearls and those are looking very, very nice and for Christmas they fit to everything.

I love the pearl ones. I'm in the US but as they would just be for me I'm not too worried about how long it would take for them to get here. They're really lovely!
